Is Valley Fiesta a ticketed event?
No. The public stages of Valley Fiesta are FREE to attend. For patrons wishing to attend events at venues in Fortitude Valley during Valley Fiesta, please check with the venues you wish to attend as some venues may charge a door or ticket price for their events.
What facilities are available for people with a disability?
Accessible toilets are located in both the Brunswick Street Mall & Chinatown Mall. Valley Fiesta’s public stages are fully wheelchair accessible. If you have any further questions in regards to wheelchair access please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Where are the toilets located?
The public toilets are located in the Brunswick Street Mall near the police beat. Additional toilets will also be installed close to this location.
Will there be an ATM onsite?
There are many ATMs located in Brunswick Street & Chinatown Malls. To avoid lines we recommend you arrive at the event with cash.
Will sniffer dogs be present at the event?
Police will be present throughout Fortitude Valley & public stages during Valley Fiesta. Brisbane City Council does not condone nor will tolerate the use of illicit substances. Any patrons found in the possession of such substances will be removed from the precinct area immediately and will be subject to police scrutiny.
Will police be present at Valley Fiesta?
Yes, there will be police present at Valley Fiesta. Valley Fiesta does not condone illegal activity and anyone found to be breaking the law will be dealt with by police accordingly.
Will there be a chill out zone?
A chill out zone will be available with St Johns Ambulance located in Chinatown Mall & will operate during event hours.
Who do I contact if I have a noise complaint?
Valley Fiesta is compliant with all Brisbane City Council noise management guidelines. If you wish to discuss your complaint further please contact the production manager on 0418 797 576.

Valley Fiesta’s public stages are all ages. Any events in licensed venues over the Valley Fiesta weekend are strictly 18+. Proof of age will be required for entry to these events.
Acceptable forms of ID are: passport, driver’s licence and Queensland Transport 18+ card.
There will be security and police presence over the weekend for Valley Fiesta however, due to the size of crowds attending, Council recommends that minors are accompanied by an adult or guardian.
No alcohol is to be consumed at any of the public stages or in the streets of Fortitude Valley. The only place where alcohol consumption is permitted is within licenced venues & areas.
What items are not allowed at Valley Fiesta?
Glass, cans, angry personalities, anything studded (i.e. belts, wristbands etc.), weapons of any kind, fireworks, alcohol, illegal drugs, video and tape recording devices, professional still cameras (small still cameras are permitted), laser lights, any items considered illegal or dangerous.
Street parking will be available in areas nearby but please note that there will be changed traffic conditions during Valley Fiesta.
We strongly suggest catching public transport to the event. Traffic changes in the Fortitude Valley area will lead to traffic delays on event days. For more information & full timetable details go to www.translink.com.au
Taxi ranks will be operating in the Fortitude Valley precinct in Wickham and Ann Streets. An additional taxi rank will also be established in McLachlan Street.
